COPS Theme Song – Bad Boys

COPS is an ongoing reality style TV series following police offers as they bust criminals and bring them to justice.

The theme song, Bad Boys is performed by reggae band Inner Circle and is from their 1987 album One Way.

The song was later re-released in 1993 as a single and included on Inner Circle’s album Bad to the Bone. Through it’s exposure from COPS and this re-release, it became a popular song throughout the 90s.

One of the producers was a big fan of Inner Circle and thought this would be a great choice for the COPS theme music.

COPS with the aid of this theme song has been parodied numerous times in movies and tv shows since it’s inception.
